Our Motto: Live, Eat, and Exercise today for a better you tomorrow!

Living Well

“The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate.”
― Oprah Winfrey

The more you live, it seems like, the more life becomes complex. If you are not careful, circumstances and responsibilities will rob you of your ability to breathe, relax, and enjoy life to its fullest. Debt becomes too great and you find yourself working just to live. The kids are involved in everything and you want to make sure you're there to support. Your job requires you to work long hours. You find yourself caring for someone full time. In whatever situation, just know that you deserve to live too. It's important to always remain vigilant about finding ways to celebrate yourself. You must have a source to feed yourself with good positive energy. It can be attending church services, a spa retreat once a month, a vacation to take a break, reading a book, spending time with girlfriends. Whatever your relief, you must make a priority to do it or you may find it hard to keep up with life due to lack of motivation. You deserve to reward yourself with good things. Self preservation is a must.

Eating Well

"You don't have to eat less, you just have to eat right." -Unknown

When it comes to eating well there are so many obstacles that keep people from doing so. Some people think eating healthy is expensive. Some people have very busy lives and eat on the run. Others are really ignorant of the role good nutrition plays when it comes to keeping your body feeling energetic and healthy. Whatever the excuse, the solution is simple. Eating healthy fruits, vegetables, and grains are the best way to fuel and heal the body. It's up to you to make the conscious decision to make a plan that works for your lifestyle.

Exercise Well

"A vigorous five-mile walk will do more good for an unhappy but otherwise healthy adult than all the medicine and psychology in the world."
― Paul Dudley White
 (an American physician and cardiologist)

It is imperative that a fish continue to swim through the water. As he swims, oxygen filters across his gills. This is necessary for life. When he stops swimming, he dies. And similar to this is humans. We hear reports that talk about how dangerous a sedentary lifestyle is. It leads to heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. Its so important to keep an active lifestyle for good health. You don't have to be a marathon runner to have great health, but it is recommended to engage in physical activities that elevate the heart rate for extended periods of time. The higher the intensity, the lower number of minutes required each week and vice versa. Walking is always a recommended way to stay in shape. And for those who suffer with injuries, there are alternative methods like biking and aqua aerobics. They key is to remain active.
