On Saturday, November 11, 2017, we hosted our first cooking demonstration with Chef Foster, a Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School graduate. Chef Foster came through with 4 fruit and veggie dishes that will go a long way for our upcoming DietBet Challenge.
On the menu was Lemon Asparagus, Pesto and Parmesan Tossed Cauliflower, Chili covered Fruit Skewers, and the crowd favorite, Quinoa Stuffed Mushrooms with a Mango Salsa. Chef Foster prepped these dishes with minimal heating in order to preserve the nutrients in each dish.
We are looking forward to more cooking demonstrations from Chef Foster next year. Thank you to all the members who came out and learned a few new recipes.
