So I went to the doctor recently for my physical checkup. I've been at this new place for over a year and I've been seeing my doctors substitute stand in doctor everytime I come in. So when I see her she said things like, "oh it's been a long time since I last saw you". 😐 Hunh what? Then she said, "last time you were here we discussed" so and so. 😒 Yeah no, I was so disappointed. And then when I discussed with her some symptoms I was having she didn't take me seriously. She said she had just read a report and those symptoms were nothing for me to worry about.
So then I go to the Station to get my blood drawn and I actually get the same chick that drew blood from me last month. Now with me, only one arm is ripe for drawing blood, and I know that cause it's my freaking arm. Last time someone insisted they felt a vein in my other arm I ended up with a really big black bruise on my arm for a few days. So now this chick says I must be dehydrated because she can't feel anything. But I'm like, I've been drinking water all morning and as a matter of fact I have to pee now cause that 32 oz of water I drank is ready to produce the urine sample you need for my routine physical. Then when she can't find a vein in my arm she pokes me on my hand. At this point I'm like get it how you can, but don't tell me what I'm not doing to help the situation. So then I get the call regarding my lab work. It turns out I am gravely deficient in Iron, Vitamin D, and B12. As a matter of fact my Vitamin D was so low I was given a prescription. So at this point I'm a little pissed. I've been at this office 2 times this year and everytime they draw a blood sample. Was there any indication that my levels were going low at all before this? I was just here last month. No one said anything to me about these deficiencies. So this is why I want to fire my doctor. I really believe this office is full of people just doing a job that pays. Every person that comes in is just another number. And my doctor swears up and down she has seen me before, but I'm like... you have the file right there. Did you review that? Because everything you summed up about my history was from conversations I've had with your substitute stand in. This is why I feel it's necessary to do my own research if I want to really improve in my health. It's good to depend on doctors so they can get your blood work completed and order certain tests, but for the long term, you've gotta take your health in your own hands. Cause these doctors at this office do not have it together. Once I find a better and more caring office, I will fire this one. Don't play around with my health. 😡😡😡 And that's 3 angry faces in a row do you know I'm serious.
