I needed to jumpstart my weight loss with something back in November. I had been hearing about this detox system through Dherbs. It's an all natural herbal detox program that lasted 20 days. While on the program, they recommend eating only raw, uncooked, and unprocessed foods. It came with a guide and a few tips to keep you going.
So I set out on the journey. Actually I enjoyed the journey in some weird kinda flush-all-my-guts kick kinda journey. Like, I swear, that cafeteria pizza from the fifth grade finally exited my system. I didn't feel any cramping except that day I forgot to eat lunch. But after that day I made sure I had something to eat. Now as much as I want to say I adhered to the raw food diet, I can't. I ate lots of salads and cooked veggies but the way schedule is set up...I found myself eating protein products and a few processed meals from fast food joints. I did not exercise during this time because I needed to give my body time to heal in the process. Plus I had a few personal issues going on so I could only take on so many changes. At the end I did manage to lose 10 whole pounds. I really felt clean on the inside. I would definitely do this cleanse again but this time I'll be equipped with more recipes. I may even do the 10 day cleanse instead of 20.
